05.40 departed from Karawaci
my bolang mate, Christina Intan (i called her Miss, she was my room supervisor last year) rided me to go there.
I brought clothes as needed, snacks, toileteries, sunblock and gadgets (camera, charger, handphone are must items! ;p).
I had to take a lot of pictures there, since I will be far away from Java island, at least for 3 years, it should be became a great memories there.
I am sure that beaches and landscapes in my futrure place is much more beautiful than Sawarna, I still want to admire His wonderful creation and share this to people that Indonesia, especially Java has a beautiful scenery that so many of us haven't recognized.

We used GPS to reach Sawarna, the tracks were Karawaci-Curug-Rangkasbitung-Malingping-Bayah-Sawarna. From the blogs that we have read, the estimation time was 5 until 6 hours by car. But because no one of us who known the way to go to Sawarna and we rided a motorcycle, we took a walk direction in google maps.
Unfortunately, my ability to read a map is very bad. I have never been travelled by reading maps alone, I used to ask nearby people or people that have been went to the place that I want to visit. I think it's easier if i take a public transportation rather than reading a map and give directions for the rider. hahaha..

12.00
acrossed bayah's beaches, beautiful corally beaches! this long trip was paid by the beauty of nature sceneries.

13.00
arrived at Sawarna tourism area, there were so many government cars because Banten's gubernur was there to visit the tourism area.

the weather was so nice, a.k.a hot! ahahaha
I was so amazed that to arrive at Sawarna beaches, we have to across a small bridge that connected with some wires only and that's the only way to go there, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrians.
I was just praying in my heart and hoped that we would safely arrive.
We have to pay IDR 5.000 per person as retribution of Sawarna tourism area.

we just went to one of the guesthouse there called as Kang Hendi homestay, since Miss had been searched about it and contacted the clerk, he is called as Mang Ncep. He helps tourists to get guest house and prepare their meals. Many local people get income from this tourism :)

unfortunately, the guest house that we had booked was booked with other person, therefore he offered the other guest-house. The first room that offered to us was IDR 250.000. The room was good, clean and relative big, it could accomodate 4 persons per room. But then we bargain the price and he sent us to another guest house named as  "Tanjung Layar Resort". I was falling in love with this place. It seemed that they were keeping the cleanliness and so on in that guest house. The price was also affordable IDR 200.000 per room per night.

homestay's room: 2 beds, fan, bathroom inside

14.00
napping, my bones just felt like broken because of the trip. hahaha.. I couldn't sit properly and just laying my body on the bed. meet the heaven hahahaa..

15.00
after searching the tourism destinations here, we arranged the itenary and places list. We wanted to visit some beaches that recommended by the bloggers such as Karang Taraje, Tanjung Layar, Pasir Putih and Legon Pari to see the sunset and sunrise...also a natural cave called as Goa Lalay.
because it was noon, we chose to visit the Pasir Putih and Tanjung Layar first, because based on the searchings, we could see sunset there.
we postponed to go to Goa Lalay because we have to pay IDR 50.000 to rent the flashlight and guide. We choose to see the free destinations first (limited budget) ;p

pasir putih
16.00-18.00
Pasir Putih
yeah, the sands were not too white, because of the wave were so high (pasang). But, overall the landscape there was so beautiful, i could see some foreign surfers went there and surfing. They seemed so excited to go there because the beach was quietly virgin, actually there are some local people' small shops that sell merchandise, meal, snacks and beverages. there are some huts that made for the tourist enjoying the beach.

Tanjung Layar

Tanjung Layar
Fortunately, the waves there were not too high, therefore we could across the beach to the "Layar" and took some pictures there.
Beautiful. The beach was so clean, therefore i could see the corals, algae, seastars, clams, and sheels.
We couldn't see the sunset, because of the weather :(

how clear the water! i could see my feet and sandals!

jumping in front of Tanjung Layar
18.00-19.30

We decided to have dinner of fish barbeque in the seaside. We found a hut that sold fresh fish and could make grilled fish. We sat on a hut and waiting for the fish by seeing the pictures that we had taken, I just could not wait to continue our adventure tomorrow. hahahhaa...
The seller said it was IDR 30.000 for grilled fish, 2 portions of rice, and sambals. *yummmm*nomnom*
We ate alot, by only one portion of rice for two of us, but because the portion was quietly big, we were so full after the dinner hehehe.. and when i wanted to pay, they said i only needed to pay IDR 25.000 *so lucky ;p
Suddenly the weather turned to dark and the wind was so hard. We were so affraid that we could not go back because it seemed that hard rain would fall.

19.30-20.30
watching tv with homestay's owner, they are from Bekasi and have another business for weekdays. They said that we were just to brave that we went there by motorcycle and only by two of us.

20.30-21.30
taking bath and clean up, so tiring and exciting day. sleepy. good night, Sawarna ;p

some tips that i suggest to you if you want to go on a trip by motorcycle:
1. safety: use closed helmet, make sure it is locked well, check the machine of motorcycle and make sure the fuel sufficient for long trip, because there are so many area that we've accrosed did not have any fuel station, there are some fuel seller along some streets (more expensive and the rumour is they did not sell the genuine fuel-sometimes it is mixed with other oil or water).
2. comfortable: use comfortable t-shirt, jacket, gloves, mask, closed shoes, trousers to prevent any sun-mark on your skin ;p and for long-hair woman should have to bunch your hair if you don't want your hair becomes being matted.
3. direction: make sure you have sufficient information about the ways to go there, you can search from internet, use GPS or ask nearby people. Able to speak local language (if it is in Sawarna, you have to be able to speak in Sundanese; luckily i had learned Sundanese when i was in elementary and junior high school, thanks to my former school ;p).
4. weather: bring raincoat, make sure you depart in the morning and arrived not too late, because bad weather can suspend your trip. (based on our experience, before having a trip to beach you have to know whether about the wave and cloud).
5. first aid: mineral water (prevent dehydration), snacks (reduce starving until you arrive at nearby restaurant), bandage, eye drops and iodine solution.

Accomodation:
there are so many guest house nearby Sawarna tourism area, it is called as "homestay...."
the prices are varies depend on the size of room and how many people that stay. Commonly each room could be stayed for 4 persons and the price around IDR 200.000 per room, so you can share it by the number of person(s) to get the cost for each person. (I think it is affordable for students and families that want to enjoy short trip). The room has one bathroom inside and a fan, usually each house facilitate TV, dispenser, and pantry to be used by the guests.
again, ability to speak in local language could help you to bargain with the owner or the clerk ;p
some local people also become a "broker" for some guesthouses and can help us to prepare the meals.
there also some places that including meals in room fares, especially for guests who come in group (more than four persons), in some blogs, they count the fares around IDR 120.000 per person (homestay+ 3 meals) but I just count that we can save the cost by renting the house that has pantry, so that we can make instant breakfast, have barbeque dinner in the beach or buying some other local meal like 'karedok'. The price might not too expensive as the other tourism destinations, relatively affordable :)

what about next day? see on part two :)
